MCI Middle East, and Zahara Tours have signed a new strategic partnership to elevate and develop Oman’s MICE sector in the Middle East market and drive its meetings industry forward. With MCI’s global expertise and Zahara’s local knowledge, the partnership will result in the designing of innovative programmes and products to enhance the experience of conducting meetings in Oman, said a statement.
Ajay Bhojwani, Managing Director MCI Middle East, said: “Oman is a fresh and exciting market in our region and has the distinction of being a great business meetings destination. Currently, eight percent of our events are held in Oman.”
Khalid Bin Al Waleed Al Zidjali, Head of Oman Convention Bureau, said: “Through Oman Convention Bureau, the ministry is making notable endeavours to develop the MICE sector in Oman and attract global investments. The launch of MCI in Oman is a fruitful result of the enormous efforts made by the MoT.”
Gautam Broota, CEO Zahara Tours, said: “We share the positive outlook of MCI with our partnership. We stay committed to Oman’s vision and will continue to be a significant contributor to the MICE sector in Oman.”
